Is cli_security set to y?

Enter the following commands:

set port cli_security y

reset <port number>

where <port number> is the number of the port being used to dial in.

For example:

admin: set port cli_security y

You may need to reset the appropriate port, Annex subsystem or

reboot the Annex for changes to take effect.

admin: reset 8

admin:

Try dialing in again.

Did the username display?

Did the annex: prompt display?

There is still a security problem. Call Cabletron Technical Support for assistance.
