The following table summarizes the possible entries and values in the
[pro4] section of the LAN Manager PROTOCOL.INI file:

Entries in the [pro4] section of the LAN Manager PROTOCOL.INI file
have the following meanings:
dmachannel
Indicates the DMA channel used by the adapter. This parameter only
applies to AT-style adapters; it is ignored for MicroChannel adapters.
drivername
Identifies the device driver name. The driver name consists of the base
portion of the filename, plus a digit if more than one adapter is
installed. The drivername is pro4$ for the first adapter, pro42$ for
the second, and so on.
interrupt
Indicates the interrupt level of the network adapter.
iobase
Indicates the base I/O address, in 16-byte increments, for the network
adapter. The value specified must match the AT-style jumper settings
or the MicroChannel POS register settings on the adapter.
