Node Link Station View
To access: Click on the LS Node Tables button in the Link Station & Port
Information View. The Node Link Station Tables contain three
buttons leading to further views and detailed information about the
link station configuration.
Clicking this button opens the APPN Node Link Station General View, which
contains two fields: General & Common LS Info, and LS_Defined Data/Xid
Info. The information in these fields is detailed below.
General & Common LS
Info
This table contains the link station information defined below.
LsName The administratively assigned name for this link station (up to 8
characters). Also the index for the table.
LsPortName The administratively assigned name for the port (up to 8 characters).
LsDlcType The type of DLC interface, according to the protocol immediately “below”
this layer; Other (none of the following), SDLC, DLS, Socket, Ethernet or
Token Ring.
LsDynamic Whether this is a dynamic link station (Yes) or not. Dynamic link stations
are created when adjacent nodes that have not been locally defined establish
a connection with this node.
LsState The current state of this link station:
Inactive The station is disabled
Pendactive Activation is in progress
Active The station is enabled
Pendinact Deactivation is in progress.
