Topology Node View
To access: Click on the Nwk & Virtual Node Topo Table button in the Node
Topology Tables View. The Topology Node Table contains an entry for
every APPN network node and Virtual node in the APPN network.
Each entry occupies two lines; the NodeName is repeated on the
second line.
NodeName Administratively assigned network name that is locally defined at each
network node. The name is in the format NETID.CPNAME and is the index
for the table.
NodeFRSN An FRSN indicating the last time this resource was updated at this node.
(FRSNs are unique only within each APPN network node and have a value 0
through 65535.)
NdEntTimeLeft The number of days left before this network node entry will be deleted (0
through 31).
NodeType The type of APPN node; NetworkNode or VirtualNode.
NodeRSN The Resource Sequence Number (RSN) that is assigned and controlled by
the network node that owns this resource. Unless an error has occurred, the
RSN is an even 32-bit number.
AddnResist Addition resistance indicates the relative desirability of using this node for
intermediate session traffic. The value in this field (0 through 255) is used in
route computation. The lower the number, the more desirable the node.
NdCongested Whether this node is congested (Yes) or not. When congestion exists, this
node is not included in route selection by other nodes. (Congestion occurs
when the number of ISR sessions exceeds an upper threshold established for
effective APPN routing services. The status becomes uncongested, No, when
the number of ISR sessions falls below the lower threshold.)
IsrDepleted Whether ISR (Intermediate Session Routing) resources are depleted. When
depleted (Yes), this node is not included in route selection by other nodes.
EndPtDeplete Whether session End Point resources are depleted (Yes) or not.
